The repercussions that the COVID-19 crisis will have on the development of 5G and telecommunications will be one of the topics addressed by the Virtual 5G Forum 2020 on 6th and 7th May.
The European multinational Intracom Telecom, with presence in more than 70 countries and 20 subsidiaries worldwide, will present its conclusions on 5G and the coronavirus crisis in the third edition of the 5G Forum, the main event on this new technology, which this year will be held virtually, and will have the participation of more than 20 main speakers.
The Vice President of sales of Intracom Telecom for Italy, Spain, Portugal and Latin America, Ercole Rovida, will be responsible, on behalf of the European multinational, to advance the “mega-trends” that will be imposed in the coming years in the post-crisis Covid-19.
The “mega-trends” are a set of aspects of society and the environment that transform consumer behavior, values and habits, whose impact is global and long term.
According to Intracom Telecom, the 5 “mega-trends” that will be imposed in the immediate future are: rapid urbanization, scarcity of resources, exponential value models in the digital economy, the change of social model and 5G technology.
All of them are already having an impact on our society, on the way we relate to each other professionally and personally, but this has only just begun. The speed with which technology and its evolution mark our daily lives makes us rethink what comes next, what the next step is and how we will manage to adapt to it.
The Virtual 5G Forum is a unique opportunity to learn about the latest advances made in the field of 5G, from professionals and large companies such as Samsung, Vodafone Business, Cisco, 5Genesis, Intracom Telecom, Huawei, Hispasat, Impulsa Visión RTVE, Nokia and Axión, sponsors of the main 5G technology event.
